Vacancy: Software Onboarding Specialist – Hospitality

At POSitive Solutions, you use your experience to help hospitality businesses move forward with smart POS (Point of Sale) systems. From the first conversation to the “go-live,” you are the driving force. You understand how the floor works, you speak the language of entrepreneurs, and you make technology practically applicable.

Your impact:

  • Portfolio Management: Build and manage your own client portfolio—from intake and demos to proposals and closing deals.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects from A to Z, including planning, training, configuration, testing, and go-live.
  • Training: Train managers and staff so everyone can use the system effortlessly.
  • Support: Provide hands-on support and handle technical malfunctions decisively.
  • Integrations: Collaborate with partners for integrations such as payments, fiscal devices, bar/kitchen displays, inventory management, and online ordering.
  • On-site Presence: Regularly visit clients at their locations within the region.

What you bring:

  • Hospitality Experience: Proven experience in the hospitality industry (you know how a bar or kitchen operates).
  • Tech Savvy: An affinity for or experience with POS software.
  • Mindset: You are independent, result-oriented, and stress-resistant.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with software implementation or process optimization.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; Papiamentu or Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Availability outside office hours for go-lives or urgent malfunctions.
  • Requirements: A valid Driver’s License (Category B) and your own transportation.

Vacancy: Junior Software Support Specialist

Are you tech-savvy, service-minded, and ready to kickstart your career in business technology?

As a Junior Software Support Specialist, you are the foundation of our service. You’ll assist our customers with daily challenges, manage smaller projects, and support our senior specialists in delivering high-impact implementations across a variety of industries.

Your Impact:

  • First-Line Support: You are the go-to person for client questions. Whether it’s a boutique retail store or a busy restaurant, you troubleshoot issues and ensure their operations stays un-interrupted.
  • Project Support: You assist with software implementations and take the lead on smaller-scale projects, such as system updates, inventory imports, or hardware installations.
  • Configuration: Learn to build and optimize POS environments—from setting up retail product databases and barcode systems to configuring hospitality floor plans.
  • Collaborative Learning: You work side-by-side with our Software Specialists during “go-lives,” gaining hands-on experience in both retail and hospitality environments.
  • Continuous Improvement: You help maintain technical documentation and guides to help our clients help themselves.

What you bring:

  • Service minded: You’ve worked in retail or hospitality and understand the importance of delivering high service.
  • Tech Curiosity: You have a natural affinity for software and a “look under the hood” mentality to see how things work.
  • Strong Communication: You are patient, professional, and can explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch and English; Papiamentu or Spanish is a significant plus.
  • Mobility: A valid Driver’s License (Category B).
